Disappointing Economist

No, not a piece about the late J K Galbraith, but about the finest international news magazine in the world.

A rather shallow report from Baghdad looks at violence of the last couple of weeks, without considering the huge decline in the activities of the paramilitary death squads since the post-Saddam violence peaked, six to nine months ago.

Fortunately, the Economist's other point, about the failure to construct a government, seems to have already been overtaken by events.
